Join the Production Systems Hardware group at Axis Communications AB as a Component Engineer in Lund. You will serve as the link between components and electronics/mechanical engineers, ensuring correct component usage in production systems by collaborating with various stakeholders and maintaining system data.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or similar
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Structured and driven with a natural engagement to finalize deliverables
  • Thorough, analytical, good communication, and influencing skills
  • Experience with component engineering
Responsibilities:
  • Register new components in systems
  • Assist and support engineers with component choices
  • Secure purchasing, environmental, and production requirements compliance
  • Register relevant data in database
  • Collaborate with suppliers to future-proof machines
  • Develop and maintain processes for components
Required hard skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or similar
  • Component engineering knowledge
  • Very good communication skills in English
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Windchill PDM tool
  • Knowledge of CE directives
  • Good communication skills in Swedish
