Swedbank is seeking a Java Developer with experience in SQL and Java, and an interest in trading and capital markets. The role includes maintaining and developing functionality using Java and SQL, working in a collaborative team with a strong team spirit, and delivering value to the bank's stakeholders. The position is a 6-month consultancy engagement via Academic Work with potential for extension or permanent hire.
Main requirements:
- Relevant degree from university or similar
- Several years of experience in similar roles or industries
- Previous experience working with Java and SQL
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, operation, and support of existing systems
- Develop new functionality using Java and SQL
- Documentation and testing
Required hard skills:

- Experience with Calypso system
- Agile working methodology
- Experience with interest rate and/or foreign exchange trading
- Experience in Operations/Backoffice
