Network Technician

Work with IT in critical societal infrastructure to ensure continuous operations for residents and businesses in Strängnäs and Eskilstuna. Manage and develop Cisco network infrastructure, focusing on sustainability, availability, automation, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
Main requirements:
  • University education in a relevant field.
  • Several years of experience with Cisco networks, including routing, switching, and firewalls in business-critical or industrial environments.
  • Experience with advanced network design, troubleshooting, and optimization in data center and core networks.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong service mindset and precision in delivery.
  • Solution-oriented approach with attention to detail and big picture contribution.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for operation and maintenance of infrastructure components, systems, and technical solutions within Cisco networks.
  • Design and develop configuration guidelines and policies.
  • Lead specific projects and assignments based on business needs.
  • Perform operational maintenance tasks.
Required hard skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
  • Advanced network design experience.
